Parliament to Convene Today: Regulations under Intellectual Property Act to be Debated

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Parliament is scheduled to convene at 9:30 AM today under the leadership of Speaker Dr. Jagath Vikramaratne.

From 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, time has been allocated for parliamentary activities related to Standing Orders 22 (1) to 22 (6).

From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, time has been set aside for oral questions.

Time from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM has been allocated for questions under Standing Order 27 (2).

Following this, from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, time has been set aside for the debate on regulations under the Intellectual Property Act.

From 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, time has been reserved for questions raised by both the ruling party and the opposition during the adjournment debate.
