Sri Lanka Begins Fourth IMF Review Talks in Washington

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Discussions between Sri Lanka and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility program, have officially commenced.

The talks are currently underway in Washington, D.C.

Deputy Minister of Finance, Professor Anil Jayantha Fernando, confirmed that a delegation consisting of officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank has travelled to the United States to take part in the negotiations.
