Siri Dalada Vandanawa Continues for 9th Day Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Siri Dalada Vandanawa enters its ninth day today and will take place from 11 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela, in a special statement to the media, confirmed that the event will conclude tomorrow and will not be extended beyond that date.

Meanwhile, Kandy District Secretary Indika Udawatta has once again urged the public to avoid travelling to Kandy due to the large crowds. 

He revealed that nearly 200,000 people are currently in the city.
