Suspect Involved In Rs. 28.4 Million Robbery Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect involved in the robbery of gold and money worth Rs. 28.4 million has been arrested by offcials of the Western Province (North) Crimes Division.
The incident took place on the 3rd of May when the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a firearm in Sapugaskanda.
The suspect was arrested yesterday in Kirindiwela.
The suspect is a 61-year-old resident of Kalagedihena.
