Army Commander Lasantha Rodrigo Gets 1-Year Extension

COLOMBO (News 1st); Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, the current Commander of the Army, will receive a one-year extension of service, effective from August 1.
The announcement was made by the Army Spokesperson on Wednesday (30).
Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo was been appointed as the 25th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, effective from 31st December 2024.
