Six Fishermen and Vessel Goes Missing in Dondra

Colombo (News 1st);A fishing vessel that departed from the Puranawella Fisheries Harbour in Dondra with six fishermen on board has gone missing.

Police said relatives reported that all communication with the vessel has been lost since the 16th.

The missing vessel has been identified as the fishing vessel “Keshan Putha.”

Authorities confirmed that the vessel set sail on August 31st.

The police have informed the Navy regarding the situation.
