Yoshitha, Daisy Forrest to face pre-trial on Nov 12

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo High Court announced that pre-trial proceedings in the high-profile money laundering case against Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and his grandmother Daisy Forrest, will commence on November 12.

The case was called before High Court Judge Udesh Ranatunga, with both accused present in court.

The duo stands accused of illegally acquiring assets and property worth approximately Rs. 73 million, in violation of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
