Hotline for Essential Services Open for Prompt Reporting

COLOMBO (News 1st): A hotline has been introduced for the prompt reporting of issues and difficulties faced when obtaining essential services.

The hotline number, 1904, is now open for the public to report any problems related to essential services, including:

Power supply
Fuel distribution
Hospitals and emergency medical services
Public transport and supplies
Water supply and sanitation
Food and essential goods
Telecommunication, information, and communication technology services
Irrigation

The Commissioner General of Essential Services, Prabath Chandrakirthi, stated that all complaints will be examined, prioritized, and promptly forwarded to the relevant sectors for swift action.
