Suspect Arrested with Over 2 Kg of Heroin at BIA

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect has been arrested with two kilograms and 308 grams of Heroin.
The suspect was arrested at the Arrival terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
The suspect, a 28-year-old resident of Rambukkana, was taken into custody by the Airport Unit of the Police Narcotics Bureu, following a tip-off received.
The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court today.
