Restoration of Northern Railway Line Launched

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The restoration of the Northern Railway Line was officially launched today at the Maho Railway Station today.
The Government of India and the Government of Sri Lanka today jointly launched the restoration of the Northern Railway Line, which was extensively damaged by Cyclone Ditwah.
The restoration will be implemented under a USD 5 million grant assistance from the Government of India, specifically for the Northern Railway Line, forming part of a broader post-cyclone recovery initiative.
