Supreme Court Rejects Bid to Postpone A/L Examination

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Supreme Court today dismissed a fundamental rights petition filed by a group of students seeking an order to postpone the upcoming G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination by two months.

The petition was taken up before a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena.

The petition had been filed by five students who are due to sit for this year's Advanced Level Examination, including both first-time and second-time candidates.
