Four Suspects Arrested Over Live Grenade In Borella

COLOMBO (News 1st): Four suspects have been arrested for aiding and abetting the placement of a live hand grenade near a house on Leslie Ranagala Mawatha in Borella.

Police stated that the motorcycle used to transport and leave the hand grenade at the location was also found abandoned in the Kotikawatta area.

According to Police, the arrested suspects are scheduled to be produced before court today.

The hand grenade was found yesterday near the house of a close associate of "Wanathe Chathu," an organized criminal who was arrested recently.
