Namal Expresses Gratitude to Supporters and Reflects on Presidential Mandate

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Namal Rajapaksa expressed his gratitude to all the citizens who placed their trust in him and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna during this year's presidential election.

In a statement, he noted that the decision regarding the presidency has been made by a mandate of 6.9 million people, which the opposition rejected in the past.

He emphasized that the party's strength will never be forgotten as the vision for a developed country becomes a reality.

He pointed out that his efforts to create a new political culture as a presidential candidate were not confined to mudslinging and empty promises; they achieved some degree of success.

In his announcement, Namal Rajapaksa said that if anyone wanted to teach them a lesson, they would learn from it and prepare thoroughly to face the challenge again.
