Hatton Bus Accident Driver Further Remanded

COLOMBO (News 1st): The driver involved in the bus accident in Malliappu, Hatton has been further remanded until January 7.
The order was issued when he was produced before Hatton Magistrate M. Farookdeen today.
On December 21, the bus veered off the road in Malliappu and fell into a precipice, causing the death of three people and injuring 52 others.
The bus was traveling from Hatton to Kandy, at the time of the accident.
