Johnston Leads SLPP Candidate Selection In Kurunegala

COLOMBO (News 1st):The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) conducted interviews at the Kurunegala District Coordination Office to select candidates for the upcoming local government elections.

The interviews were held under the leadership of Johnston Fernando, the SLPP District Leader for Kurunegala.

"Every party aims for victory, and we are no different. We believe that Namal Rajapaksa made the right decision back then by stepping forward for the party. That's why the SLPP has survived to this day. If he hadn't made that decision, the SLPP wouldn't be in the position it is today," said Johnston Fernando, Kurunegala District Leader of the SLPP.
