Sri Lanka Attracts Over 800,000 Tourists This Year

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has seen a significant influx of foreign tourists this year, with a total of 816,191 visitors arriving in the country. 

The majority of these tourists have come from India.

In the first 15 days of this month alone, 93,915 tourists have visited Sri Lanka, according to the Tourism Development Authority. 

Last year, Sri Lanka welcomed a total of 2,053,465 foreign tourists, marking a robust year for the tourism sector.
