Siri Dalada Pilgrimage Concludes With Special Recognition For Government Officials

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A special opportunity has been provided to government officials who were engaged in duties during the Siri Dalada Wandanawa.

This decision was made in recognition of their efforts in providing facilities for the devotees during the 10-day pilgrimage.

Central Provincial Secretary Ajith Premasinghe stated that all government employees, including workers, doctors, and nursing staff, have been given the opportunity to venerate the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.

The Veneration of the Sacred Tooth Relic concludes today, with hundreds of thousands of devotees having attended.
