Namal Rajapaksa Pledges Debt-Free Future, Calls for 20-Year Political Vision

COLOMBO (News 1st): SLPP National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa says that steps will be taken to ensure that children are not burdened with debt and that the necessary financial flow will be secured for their future.

Speaking at a gathering of party supporters in Galle, he emphasized that political decisions should be made with a 20-year vision in mind.

SLPP National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa stressed the importance of focusing on long-term goals rather than seeking quick wins over five or ten years. He noted that every decision he makes is carefully planned with a vision that extends 20 to 30 years into the future.

He emphasized that regardless of whether the next generation chooses to enter politics, it is the responsibility of today's leaders to ensure they are well-prepared and properly equipped for the future.

Rajapaksa further stated that he is committed to making the right decisions with a clear, forward-thinking strategy, not only to prevent future generations from being burdened by debt, but also to ensure that adequate financial systems and support are in place if needed.
