No-Confidence Motion Signed Against Education Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st); A no-confidence motion against Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya was signed this morning at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition.

The motion, spearheaded by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, alleges that the government’s education reforms have introduced content deemed inappropriate for children and contain numerous factual errors, while accusing the minister of failing to take proper corrective action.

Premadasa was the first to sign the motion, followed by other opposition member.
