Seaplane Crash at Gregory Lake Injures Two Pilots

COLOMBO (News 1st); A seaplane crash at Gregory Lake today left two pilots injured, according to police reports. 

The incident occurred around 12:30 PM while the aircraft was attempting to land.

Authorities stated that the pilots have been admitted to Nuwara Eliya Hospital for treatment.

The seaplane had arrived to transport a group of tourists visiting Nuwara Eliya when the accident took place.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
