Rs.7.5 Billion in Compensation Paid For Disaster-Affected Farmers

COLOMBO (News1st): The Agricultural and Agrarian Insurance Board says that insurance compensation has been paid to 96,800 farmers whose crops were damaged due to recent disasters.

The Chairman of the Board, Premasiri Jasinghearachchi, said that Rs. 7.5 Billion has been disbursed to these farmers so far.
