Two Arrested in Colombo for Illegal Diesel Possession

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two suspects were arrested for the possession of 826 liters of Diesel without a valid license during a raid conducted on D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo. 

According to the Police, a sum of Rs. 72,210 suspected to be illilcit proceedings from the sale of fuel was also taken into custody.

The suspects are aged 23 and 61 years old, residents of Wellawatte and Wariyapola.

The Colombo District Crimes Division has launched further investigations into the incident.
