Shots Fired at Three-Wheeler Carrying 'Podi Patty'

COLOMBO (News 1st); A shooting was carried out targeting an individual known as Podi Patty, who is allegedly linked to organized crime, near the Lokaswatta cemetery in Ahungalla.

Police said the shooting occurred earlier today while he was travelling in a three-wheeler. Despite the attack, Podi Patty was not injured in the incident.

Police further stated that Podi Patty is the brother of Loku Patty, a known organized criminal figure.

The suspects responsible for the shooting have not yet been identified, according to police. Investigations are ongoing.
