Motor Racing Association Registration Temporarily Suspended by Extra-ordinary Gazette

COLOMBO (News 1st): An extraordinary gazette notification has been issued temporarily suspending the registration of the National Sports Association for Motor Racing.

The gazette was issued under the signature of Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage.

The Ministry Secretary has been appointed as the competent authority to oversee amendments to the existing constitution and complete the election process to appoint new office-bearers.

Accordingly, the Ministry Secretary has also been vested with the authority to manage and administer the federation's affairs until an annual general meeting is held and new office-bearers are elected.
