Train Services Between Rambukkana, Peradeniya and Gampola Suspended for Two Days

COLOMBO (News 1st): All train services between Rambukkana, Peradeniya and Gampola have been suspended today and tomorrow.

The suspension is due to urgent repair work following an active landslide near Kadigamuwa Railway Station, which caused soil to wash onto the railway tracks. Restoration work is now underway to clear the debris and restore the line.

The Department of Railways said passengers who have paid for reserved seats for today and tomorrow will be able to obtain refunds.
