Special Day Declared For Ballot Paper Distribution

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Today has been declared a special day for the distribution of official ballot papers for the upcoming local government elections.

Deputy Postmaster General Premachandra Herath stated that the distribution process will be completed by April 29.

The local government elections are scheduled to be held on May 6.

Public officials who were unable to cast their postal votes on April 25 will have the opportunity to do so tomorrow and the day after.
