Galle Police And Military Arrest 22 In Joint Operation

COLOMBO (News 1st): 22 suspects have been arrested in a special operation conducted by the Galle Police Division this morning.

Police stated that nine of them were arrested for drug-related offences.

Two individuals with outstanding warrants are also among those arrested.

The suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Galle Magistrate's Court.

The operation was carried out jointly by the police and the military from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.
