Harin Fernando Testifies Before Bribery Commission Over Telecom Ministry Probe

Colombo(News 1st); Former Minister Harin Fernando appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption this afternoon.

He was summoned to provide evidence regarding an ongoing investigation into an alleged financial fraud at the Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure.

Harin Fernando held the post of Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure during the government of Good Governance. 

The Bribery Commission confirmed that he spent nearly three hours giving evidence before leaving the premises.
