Backhoe Saman’s Wife Remanded Over Drug Charges

COLOMBO (News 1st); The wife of Backhoe Saman has been remanded until September 25.

The order was issued by the relevant court after she was presented in connection with serious narcotics-related allegations under the Poisons, Opium, and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance. 

The Director of the Police Narcotics Bureau has also been instructed by the court to appear on September 25 and provide a detailed explanation regarding the charges filed against the suspect.
