Kaduwela-Battaramulla Road Reopens As Floodwaters Recede

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Kaduwela-Battaramulla road, which was closed due to flooding, has now been reopened for traffic.
Police said that as floodwaters receded, obstacles on several side roads in the Kelani River valley have also been cleared.
However, only heavy vehicles are allowed to use the Kaduwela–Weliwita section of the Colombo–Avissawella low-level road.
