Two Dead, Three Injured in Separate Shootings in Kalutara and Jinthupitiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A person has died following a shooting near the No. 01 Railway Station in Wadiyamankada, Kalutara.

Police stated that the individual died after being admitted to Nagoda Hospital.

The deceased was a 35-year-old man.

An unidentified gunman who arrived on a motorcycle opened fire on the victim, who was a shop owner.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, one person was killed, and three others were injured in a shooting that occurred in Jinthupitiya.

According to police, the injured individuals have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
