Litro Gas Assures Steady Gas Supply With Regular Shipments

COLOMBO (News 1st): Litro Gas states that a vessel carrying gas is scheduled to reach the island every three days.

Its Chairman, Channa Gunawardena, noted that sufficient gas stocks are available to meet requirements until the end of April.

He further stated that these stocks are currently being stored in facilities located in the Maldives.

A vessel carrying an additional 33,000 metric tonnes of gas from the United States is scheduled to reach the Maldives tomorrow.

The Litro Chairman also announced that another vessel carrying a further 33,000 metric tonnes of gas is expected to arrive in the Maldives on April 20th.

He added that all necessary steps are being taken to fulfill the country's gas requirements without any disruptions.
