Indian Vice President to Visit Sri Lanka on Official Two‑Day Trip

COLOMBO (News 1st); Preliminary discussions on the upcoming official visit of the Vice President of India to Sri Lanka were held this afternoon (06) at the Presidential Secretariat.

The meeting took place between the Chief of Staff to the President, Prabath Chandrakeerthi, and the Deputy High Commissioner of India, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey. Discussions focused on arrangements for the two‑day official visit of the Vice President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan.

During the visit, the Indian Vice President is scheduled to hold official discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The meeting also reviewed Indian‑funded development projects, including those that have already been completed as well as projects that are planned to commence in the future.
