‘Himikama’ National Programme to Issue Land Deeds and Permits Begins in Kilinochchi

COLOMBO (News 1st) -The ‘Himikama’ national programme aimed at issuing land ownership deeds and permits will be officially launched today, beginning with the Palai Divisional Secretariat Division in Kilinochchi.

The programme is being implemented under the leadership of Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands, and Irrigation, K.D. Lalkantha. 

The inauguration ceremony will be held at the auditorium of Palai Central College.

Under its first phase, the initiative will see the distribution of 50,000 land permits and deeds to rightful beneficiaries.
