IRD Records Highest Tax Revenue in History

COLOMBO (News1st): The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) says that the highest tax revenue in recent history was recorded in the year 2025.
That revenue amounts to Rs. 2,023 billion.
Senior Commissioner, M.A. Priyanka noted that the Department exceeded the tax revenue target for the past year by Rs. 33 billion.
