Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel Issues Safety Guidelines Amid Rising Middle East Tensions

COLOMBO (Mews1st): The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel has issued a set of safety guidelines for Sri Lankans working in the country due to the growing unrest in the Middle East.

Nimal Bandara, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, said that these measures should be followed in the event of emergency missile attacks or terrorist activities.

Accordingly, Sri Lankans have been advised to remain vigilant regarding updates and alerts issued by the Israeli media and security forces.

The guidelines specifically instruct those working in open areas to move to the nearest safe shelter immediately if an alarm or warning is sounded during their working hours.

The Ambassador further advised individuals planning to travel to Israel in the coming days to stay closely informed about the situation.
