Harsha de Silva Welcomes U.S. Tariff Cut

Colombo(News 1st); Chairman of the Committee on Public Finance and Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Dr. Harsha de Silva expressed his appreciation over this achievement reached by Sri Lanka, describing it as a crucial step for strengthening the country’s economy.

He noted that the move positions Sri Lanka more competitively alongside regional exporters such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, and India, creating greater opportunities in the U.S. market.
