Premadasa Welcomes US Tariff Cut, Calls for Further Reduction

Colombo(News 1st); Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa says he is pleased with the reduction of the US tariff rate imposed on Sri Lanka to 20%.
However, he points out that in order to achieve a real benefit for Sri Lankan exporters, further negotiations with the US are needed to reduce the tariff rate to 15%.
