Infant’s Body Discovered on Train from Puttalam to Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police have requested CCTV footage from railway stations along the Puttalam to Fort route as part of their investigation into the discovery of an infant's body in a train lavatory.

According to Police, the body was found yesterday (1st) in a train traveling from Puttalam to Colombo, which was stopped at the Dematagoda railway station.

The remains have been sent to the police morgue, and further investigations are currently underway.
